Clifton International University was founded in 2009 by educators and innovators who recognized that the powers of science, technology, and education could be harnessed to promote economic growth and development. CIU is committed to developing and researching innovative supplemental and informal education programs that lead to high levels of academic achievement for all communities, disseminating model programs and promising practices to inform educational practice, and working with community leaders and legislators to develop new policies to improve education at the local, national and international level.
