Description
The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop understanding of the relationships between the structures and functions of the human body. The content should include, but not be limited to, the following:
โข implementation of scientific habits of mind
โข application of scientific knowledge, methodology, and historical context to solve problems
โข use of laboratory technologies
โข terminology
โข cells and tissues
โข homeostasis
โข human genetics, growth, and development
โข body composition, structure, and function
โข internal and external changes and responses
โข connections between anatomy, physiology, medicine, technology, society, and the environment
Prerequisite: Teacher Recommendation
