Fire Safety

Fire can destroy lives, close businesses and put a tremendous strain on the health and welfare of those affected. All members of staff have a role to play in fire safety and the fire-safety qualifications offered by Highfield help to support these various roles.

Achievement of a fire-safety qualification by staff members will assist organizations in meeting their legal obligations, as well as in providing a much safer working environment for all of their employees.

1 Highfield Level 1 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety Awareness These include basic fire safety and what to do in the event of an emergency,
the principles of fire risk control and practical fire safety.
2 Highfield Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety These include hazards and risks, the control of fire risk, principles
and practice of fire safety management at work and the role of the nominated
fire warden.
